Oak Fork Campground Description

Oak Fork Campground is one of the first campgrounds you will come to when travelling to Timothy Lake from Highway 26. It sits on the southeast shores of the lake and is a popular destination for tent campers and boaters alike.

The campground features 36 campsites, 6 cabins and 8 walk-in only sites. These new cabin additions were added during the fall/winter of 2017 and may not appear in the photos below. Amenities include potable water, vault toilets, garbage bins, picnic tables, fire rings, a boat launch, swimming area and firewood sales during the permissible fire season.

Activities on Timothy Lake are plentiful. Some of these include fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, biking, bird watching, horseback riding, kayaking, paddle boarding and more. Nearby Litle Crater Lake is a unique attraction that fills with 34-degree spring water and is just a short drive or even a walk from Oak Fork campground.

If you plan on camping at Timothy Lake, Oak Fork Campground is a great choice. Its proximity to the lake, amenities and facilities make it a great family destination. Be sure to make reservations as all campgrounds at Timothy Lake fill up very quickly.
