Grindstone Campground Description
We drove past this campground this morning (June 5, 2016) to scope it out for possible future camping. At this time, the campground appears to be CLOSED (it is also listed so on the National Forest website). There is a large tree down just inside the entrance. The road (3530) is also nearly impassible to anything except high-clearance 4wd vehicles, dirt bikes, or horses when coming from either the north or the south.
That said, the campsites still exist and are simple but attractive, with fire rings and picnic tables.
