South Shore Suttle Lake Campground Description
South Shore Suttle Lake Campground is as picturesque as it gets in a lakeshore campground. The campground runs adjacent to Suttle Lake and many of the campsites have great water access with swimming if you visit during the warmer months. Suttle Lake is a popular desitnation for boating, fishing, swimming and hiking and the camping is great.
South Shore Suttle Lake Campground has a boat ramp, 38 campsites, drinking water, vault toilets and costs roughly 18 dollars per night to stay at. The road through camp is a little rough and most of the sites are not really set up to accommodate larger RVs or trailers though you could make it work as many of them. The site vary drastically with some being on the lake shore, some very shaded, some in the sun and others tucked away with more privacy.
The campground is very popular so be sure to either arrive early or make online reservations to gaurantee you get a site. If you arrive and it is full there are other campgrounds nearby including Scout Lake, Link Creek, and Blue Bay.
Overall the campground is nice considering its location on Suttle Lake. You may be able to hear some highway noise but that is going to be the case with anywhere you camp on Suttle Lake.
