Oregon State Parks Free Day 2013

2013-state-parks-free-day-oregonOn Saturday, June 1st, Oregon State Parks and Recreation Department will be celebrating it’s 15th “State Parks Day” by offering a free day which includes day use passes and a night of camping. With the rising cost of camping this is something you will want to be sure to take advantage of.

The free State Parks Day was established in 1988 and is typically observed on the first Saturday of June. The idea behind the free day is to give a “thank you” back to Oregonians and allow everyone a chance to enjoy the State Parks.

For more information as well as events visit the Oregon State Parks and Recreation Department website.
