Riverford Campground Description

Riverford campground is located on the banks of the Clackamas River right next to the convergence of it and the Collawash River. Riverford has 10 tent sites, a vault toilet and no potable drinking water. There are a few campsites that sit right next to the river but the rest are situated slightly back from the water’s edge. This campground is on the cusp of being a more primitive site as there are little amenities, the road is not paved and people tent to scatter about when camping here.

Perhaps the largest draw to the Riverford Campground is the proximity to water for swimming, fishing and even visiting hot springs. Both Austin Hot Springs and Bagby Hot Springs are close to the Riverford Campground. Don’t forget to bring water!
