North Lava Flow Campground Description
North Lava Flow is the lesser known and lesser used campground on popular Davis lake, at the southern end of Cascade Lakes Highway. This charming campground is snuggled between the lake and a massive wall of lava, providing aback wall thirty feet high. Mature Ponderosa pines shade the campground in an open park like setting. Davis Lake offers fishing and scenery, and little more. Not a swimming lake. A pair of nesting bald eagles make home here, and a portion of the campground is closed during nesting season. Pit toilets, piped water, picnic tables, and fire pits. No reservations.
