Lake Harriet Campground Description
Located just past the Ripplebrook Ranger Station, Lake Harriet Campground rests on the shore of the 22 acre Lake Harriet Reservoir. While very small, the lake is a popular destination for anglers and boaters alike and can get quite crowded at times. The small campground on the short of Lake Harriet is home to just 11 campsites and while it is right next to the lake, it also sits right next to a mildly traveled and dusty road. This is a far cry from glamorous camping. The small campground offers very little privacy and is comparable to camping in a gravel parking lot. If you enjoy fishing then this may be the spot for you, however, if you are a camper looking for a nice retreat in the woods you may want to look elsewhere.
The campground is operated by Portland General Electric under contract with the National Forest service.

Very nice place to get lost in time. The fishing and hiking is one of the best in the area.
